Replacing A Shower Hose

The shower hose which connects the shower system with the handset is subjected to a lot of wear and tear with it often being stretched and bent in various directions meaning it may become kinked or even develop a split.

A lot of hoses have a ridged surface so they are not the easiest to clean, for this reason alone you may decide to replace it if it becomes moldy or have a build up of limescale caused from hard water.

For those of you that ‘don’t do’ DIY here is one job that you will be able to accomplish without fear.

Changing a shower hose is relatively easy to do as the fittings in the UK are generally universal but this terrific video (below) illustrates it well and makes it as simple as possible.
