Bath Panels

When you buy bath panels – whether corner bath panels, straight or curved bath panels - you want them to be hard wearing and manufactured to a high standard. Our bath panels come in a range of sturdy materials including mahogany or oak finished MDF, carronite, tough 5mm reinforced acrylic and solid wood. We also have a range of shapes to choose from; straight or end, curved bath panels plus corner bath panels and offset corner bathtub sets too.

Picking the right bath panel - corner, curved or straight bath panels

Panels come in a variety of shapes and sizes including corner bath panels, curved bath panels and straight bath panels. To some extent the one you choose is dictated by the bath you have as you need it to conform to the shape of the side of the tub so for P-shape, L-shape, offset corner and corner curved tubs you will have a small selection.

However the more standard the shape of your tub the more choices you have when it comes to the panel. The material panels are made of varies also and some materials suit modern styles like acrylic, carronite and painted MDF whilst others like a wooden bath panel, painted wood or wrapped / veneered MDF are better for more traditional designed bathrooms. Tiled panels are great for modern wet rooms but can equally be at home in other styles of room by choosing a different tile. We can help you choose the best bathroom wall panels if you are uncertain.

Luxurious and top quality or competitively priced

As with other categories there are a big range of prices on offer. Solid timber is usually at the more expensive end of the pricing scale for bath screens whereas standard reinforced acrylic tends to be at the cheaper end. Shaped panels and corner bath panels are also more expensive to manufacture and so these tend to cost more than the standard rectangular products. Coated MDF can be a very robust and cost effective material to use as long as you remember to seal any cuts that you have to make. Using several coats of a bathroom varnish to seal these exposed edges is a very good idea.

Additional products for those finishing touches

The obvious accessory needed is a bathtub and we have many shapes and sizes of these to suit every situation. Many finished bath panels and bath screens also have options of matching furniture to create a seamlessly designed look throughout and providing much needed storage. Some items come with matching towel rails that attach to them and others include designer inserts and patterns to add a further touch of style. Matching end panels are usually available along with corner posts to tidy up the edges and provide a regal look! At Soakology we provide something for every taste and budget.
