As one of the leading bathroom furniture specialists in the UK, we are proud of the exceptional products and customer service we offer. We have a team of experts available to help you create your dream bathroom. Our floor standing basin units provide a great deal of storage, which we believe is essential for modern bathrooms. Floor standing storage is also often easier to install than wall mounted options. Our bathroom sink units vary by brand, from Arcade, Britton, Burlington, Imperial and Soakology. These washstands also differ by their features, from number of taps, number of doors and number of drawers. They can also be soft-closing, freestanding, or wall hung. This range of basin units are available in different finishes. We ensure that in our variety of options, you can find a basin unit for both large and small bathrooms alike.

Selecting a floor standing unit

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to washstands, it’s helpful to do your research before making a selection. Carefully measure the space that you have available for a unit. Try not to get too close to other bathroom equipment unless absolutely necessary. Also, be aware of the water supply and waste pipes and where they will enter the unit. If they have to come out of the floor rather than the wall, measure the distance from the wall and between pipes so that you can ensure your choice item has the plumbing space in the right place. Drawers generally provide more convenient storage as even the back of the unit is accessible when the drawer is open. However, if your plumbing pipes project a long way into the room and cannot be altered, it may be impractical to modify drawers and therefore doors may be a better option. If you are storing large items, then doors are also more practical. If you need any further assistance while making your decision, please don’t hesitate to contact us, either over the phone, via our chat or email.
